The 19 have plead NOT GUILTY to the outrageous charges issued by the Orange County DA and the UCI administration and will continue to Pretrial March 7. That hearing will be held at the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana.
Despite claims by various UCI administrators that the charges were a “surprise” and that they had nothing to do with the charges, we would like to reiterate that, to date, not a single UCI official, least of all Chancellor Drake, has publicly spoken out against the charges. In our humble understanding of the law, if a representative of the UCI administration appeared in court and asked the judge to drop the charges, he would be compelled to.
